Happy St George’s Day!

St George's Day takes place on the 23rd April each year to marks the death of the Patron Saint of England, who is thought to have died in around AD 303 when he was tortured and executed in Palestine, becoming an early Christian martyr. The legend of Saint George and the Dragon describes the saint taming and slaying a dragon that demanded human sacrifices.
