In science this week, we were looking at different materials and the properties that these materials possess.
These properties include soft, hard, shiny, dull and stretchy.
We all had a feel of the different materials and said how they felt and what properties they had.

We started to make our mask for our green man. We have used cardboard and tore tissue paper to make the mask look like leaves and grass for our green man faces.

Resilience and interpersonal skills
We have been working on our resilience and interpersonal skills.
We were given some puzzles to complete by Mrs Swift. We then had to show resilience by completing the puzzle and not giving up.
If we needed help we had to speak to our friends and ask them for help.

Rat Husbandry at Myerscough
Before dinner the group looked at different aspects of rat Husbandry. This included handling with positive reinforcement using meat paste, cleaning their cage, feeding and looking at enrichment. (Making their lives more interesting)

Maths
We have continued with our counting to 20 in our maths lessons.
We looked at different ways we could make and count to 20, Mrs Swift even finished with a game where we had to make 20 by landing a beanbag in different zones on a target and adding the results.

WAM assembly
In the secondary WAM (Worth A Mention) assembly, Mickey wanted to showcase her talent for singing.
She bravely got up in front of the whole school and sang “A Sky Full of Stars” and she was fantastic!
