Ks5 life skills college group
KS5 life skills college group have been using a tape measure to measure the length of a room. They had to hold the tape measure straight and look at the measurement and try to read it accurately.

In English 5GT have been looking at abbreviations and how to use them in sentences. They have also been using abbreviations for personal information such as Mr, Mrs, Miss ,Mz and using them to fill in forms.

5GT Pancake comparison-packet or home made?
Today 5GT we’re making pancakes. Comparing a packet mix with home made. The results came in, Home made were ‘flipping’ lovely, pardon the pun! Also with much fewer ingredients than the packet mix.

5M Having Therapy dog fun!

Dog training week 2
Some of our KS5 students participated in week two of dog training! They revisited some skills from last week and learnt some new tricks too! They all enjoy these sessions and we think Molly enjoys all of the treats!

Life Skills KS5 college group
Today we have been learning how to use the carpet cleaner. We discussed about how to use it safely then Mrs Irving demonstrated how to use the machine. The students took it in turns to have a go cleaning the carpet.
