5GT Pancake comparison-packet or home made?

Today 5GT we’re making pancakes. Comparing a packet mix with home made. The results came in, Home made were ‘flipping’ lovely, pardon the pun! Also with much fewer ingredients than the packet mix.

4B Life Skills: Water Safety
In Life skills the pupils of 4B looked on the RNLI website at water safety.
They recognised hazards on a picture of the beach, discussed the dangers and learnt that if they fall in cold water that they should stay calm and float on their backs like starfish.

Comic Book Characters
In English, 3H have used their imaginations to create their own unique comic books characters. 3H will use their characters to inspire their upcoming original Comic strips!

Sensory Massage
This morning 3H have took part in a sensory massage session. Sensory massage helps relax the whole body and mind by focusing its attention on areas of the body that connect us most to the world around us through our senses!

5M Having Therapy dog fun!
5M have been having lots of fun with Daisy our Therapy dog. Playing fetch with different toys and giving her commands.

Today class 5M visited Palatine library. We looked at the various services you can use and used our library cards to borrow some books that we chose.

Music games
Today in music we got our body moving with some repetition songs and dance. We also learnt the chorus to ‘Happy’ which is the song we will be looking at for the term !

New class novel
Today we have chosen a new class novel and have started reading it. It is really funny so far but we have just got to a sad bit. There are QR codes in the book and we will get to listen to songs as we go along.
