Mrs Irvings english group have been playing listen and respond games. The objective of the games is to recall simple information, identify simple sounds, locate sound based solely on hearing and listen to information and respond. We played the parachute game for the last objective.

Cooking at the Oracle
Yr 14 have been busy at the Oracle this morning. They have made sausage,bean and cheese pasties and egg,sausage and cheese omelettes for their lunch. They also cut up potatos to make wedges in the airfryer.

Yr14 Christmas Coffee Afternoon
Yr 14 made mince pies this morning to serve at their coffee afternoon. They invite parents and carers who sampled their mince pies and also recieved a recipe booklet with all the christmas recipes in that that the students have cooked over the last few weeks.

Making Bubble and Squeak

Today yr14 have been making soup and bread rolls for their lunch. They have been using new skills ,blending, and skills they have already learnt such as chopping,boiling, kneading and baking.

Yr 14 have made pizza pasta bake at college today. They have made the tomato based sauce themselves and added a selection of ingredients to it. They chose from sausage, ham, sweetcorn and peppers. Haydn said "its delicious".

Today yr14 have made lemon drizzle cake with Blackpool Catering Services at The Oracle. They have been grating, beating and then wasging up and drying. The cakes smelled and looked delicious.
