The musicians with a connection to PCA performed superbly at the Schools Alive concert and were well rewarded with a standing ovation. Our hours of practice on Tuesday evenings throughout the previous year certainly paid off for us - and the audience!

Schools Alive Concert Winter Gardens February 5th 2024
This picture shows the Band sitting quietly and waiting for the curtain to go up before we started the whole event. There was a huge audience to perform to and we received rapturous applause after we played each of our tunes. Well done, the Band!

PCA Carol Concert Thursday December 21st 2023

PCA band's last concert of the year took place this morning. The whole school was present and as usual we were asked to entertain with Carols and Christmas tunes. Georgia, Adam and Mr Miller played with us and were superb! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone.

Woodlands School Monday December 18th 2023
Our last off-site performance was for the pupils and staff at Woodlands School who sang along to our Carols and Christmas tunes with gusto and obviously loved doing so. It's a pity we can't have Christmas more often - maybe we should ask Santa for that as a gift!

Cavendish Road Church, Bispham Thursday December 14th 2023
The Band was joined by Anchorsholme Primary School's choir to entertain the church congregation with Christmas tunes and carols. It was a lovely evening and was rounded off by everyone being given a selection box by the organisers - unfortunately Santa was stuck in a traffic jam!

Key Stage 1 Nativity Wednesday December 13th 2023

A small number of Band members plus Mr Holt supported the fantastic Nativity play performed by pupils from KS1. The Nativity was wonderful and it was our pleasure to play Christmas Carols and tunes to entertain the audience alongside them!

Sam's Place, Poulton-le-Fylde Tuesday December 12th 2023
The Band had a great turnout of older pupils for our trip today and we sounded [if it's possible!] better than ever. There is always a very welcoming atmosphere at Sam's Place and today was no different. There was a big crowd singing along so......... thank you!

Holy Family School and Church Monday December 11th 2023
The Band performed Christmas carols and tunes to all the pupils and staff from Holy Family school. We had our dinner at the school and then performed in the church. Holy Family choir sang some carols beautifully and we all had a lovely afternoon.

Christmas Lights Switch-on Thursday December 7th 2023
Many thanks to Jason and his staff at Lateo for inviting us into their premises to perform for the Lights Switch-on. It was cold, windy and wet outside so in the best Christmas tradition they gave us shelter, food [a lovely hamburger] and warmth. Have a lovely Christmas!

St Mary's Church Fleetwood Monday December 4th 2023
The Band played Christmas Carols and tunes to an appreciative audience at this most magnificent of churches. A special mention for Nathan who's parents arranged the visit for us and gave us a great welcome - perhaps an invite for Easter could be arranged, Nathan?

Blackpool Tower Monday November 20th 2023
The Band had the pleasure of performing for members of the "Purpose Coalition" in the Tower Ballroom, amongst whom was Justine Greening, a former Education Secretary. We received plenty of applause from the audience and enjoyed playing in the Ballroom.

The Marton Institute Sunday November 19th 2023
The Band performed on Sunday evening to help raise funds for Bryan House, our local Hospice. We played very well and a total of £1300 was raised which must be a record! Well done to all the Band members!
