We are continuing with our enterprise project for Christmas.
we have continued to cut boxes up and decorate them using old Xmas wrapping paper as and eco friendly way to recycle. We have also been designing and making tags for the gifts.

In Maths we started to discuss how we can use different methods to work out problems and sums.
We spoke about the horizontal and column methods and when would be the correct times to use them.

Today pupils from sixth form have been purpose denting their car parts so that they can expertly fix the again. They’ve had lots of fun denting and using filler to fix these dents!

KS5 Blackpool and The Fylde College
Music at Blackpool and the Fylde College.
At college this week we first had to listen to pieces of music and guess which instruments were being played.
We then got to try different instruments out in the studio.
We got to play the drums, a synthesiser and a piano.

Catering at The Oracle
Today yr14 have been making macaroni cheese and flapjack for their lunch. This week we have used measuring ,weighing ,boiling and mixing skills. We also got the chance to use our brand new induction hobs and pans.

In our Music Technology lesson Mr Shanagher showed us his synthesiser, which switch’s and dials changed the sound output.
We all then went on the laptops and had a go at an online synthesiser.
